Sashiko is pronounced “sash (i) ko” with the “i” almost silent and literally means "little stabs" or "little pierces". It is a form of decorative reinforcement stitching (or functional embroidery) from Japan. This class will focus on altering the basics of Sashiko hand-stitching and transforming these into a technique using your sewing machine. This is a techniques class; you won’t be making the project shown in the promo photos.

After signing up, you should receive a supply list of any additional supplies needed for class within 24-48 hours. Any supplies you buy (from Mad B's) for the class you signed up for will receive a 10% discount. Please let us know if you do not receive your supply list within 24-48 hours of signing up for the class.

CANCELLATION POLICY: A 7-day notice is required in order to receive a full refund or store credit. If there is less than a 7-day notice Mad B's will attempt to fill the seat with another customer. If the slot is filled, you may receive a full refund(class fees only) or store credit. If Mad B's is unable to fill the cancelled seat your class fee will be forfeited.
